Abstract:This polygon coverage geographically indicates those lands that are protected by the State of Delaware and those lands which are to be potentially protected from further development. The protected lands encompass state parks, municipal parks, county parks, conservation easements, nature preserves, natural areas, leased lands and fish & wildlife areas within the state of Delaware.
Purpose:Data is used for general mapping purposes, land acquisition analyses, statistical calculations for reports, development of management and landuse plans, and environmental assessments.
